30ML Coffee & Food Nachtegaalstraat is located in the cosy Utrecht neighborhood ‘Buiten Wittevrouwen’, about a 10-minute walk from the Utrecht city center. The business is surrounded by cute little streets, a good mix of well-known and local shops and some beautiful parks and avenues. It’s the place in this neighborhood for the best specialty coffee and a delicious breakfast or lunch!
The place is nice and bright and cosy, with a casual atmosphere. You’ll find a good mix of locals, real coffee lovers, students, tourists and people at work.
The kids’ corner has also been thought of. You can also use the games cupboard and borrow a book from the ‘Mini library’. No need to get bored here!
In 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023, 30ML Nachtegaalstraat has been named “Best Coffee Shop in Utrecht” in the election of horecaprijzen.nl! Of course we are very proud of that 😊
At 30ML you don’t pay extra for your plant-based mylk: oat, soy and coconut are now included!
You can order the items on our menu all day long. So a late breakfast or an early lunch? No problem!
We offer a varied range of coffee & food, with plenty of vegetarian and vegan options. The Dutch Vegetarian Association (“De Vegetariërsbond) has awarded us the “LekkerVega Brons” quality mark, which means that at least 30% of our menu items are vegetarian or plant-based.
We can also serve all our dishes on gluten-free bread 🍞
For real coffee lovers it may be a bit like swearing in church… but with us you can also opt for decaf coffee! Not everyone wants a caffeine kick after drinking coffee, right?
We therefore have a good decaf coffee for the real specialty coffee enthusiast: the Decaf Brazil Fruitas Proibidas. This Brazilian specialty coffee is decaffeinated with liquid CO2. This gives you a taste of dried figs, citrus, chocolate and almonds.
Come and try it, or buy a bag of decaf beans to take home.
We value the possibility of a spontaneous visit. That is why we do not work with reservations, but rather invite you to drop by and choose a free table!
Want to come and work on your laptop for a while? You are most welcome! We have set up a special laptop table for all the hard workers. Outside peak times, you can also sit at other tables in the back of the shop.

Experience the rich flavours of our Brazil Santos, a single-origin coffee from Minas Gerais, Brazil. These 100% Arabica beans are naturally processed and lightly roasted. This gives this coffee a silky smooth body with notes of cocoa, nuts and a hint of caramel. This is our ‘house-roast’ speciality coffee: the best of the best. And the great thing about these beans: the farmers are paid fairly, too.
